What is
EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT - also called psychological acupuncture - is part of the field of energy psychology, just like the Emotion Code.
With EFT it is assumed that pain, stress and burdening emotions lead to a disorder of the energy flow in the meridians, as we know them from acupuncture.
When the energy flow in the meridians is freed from disorders and blockages, the causes e.g. burdening emotions are freed as well.
EFT is the widest spread method of energy psycology worldwide. One reason is for sure that it is really easy to learn and can be used by everyone as a means to self healing.
How does it work
EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT has three pillars.
First all main meridians are stimulated by tapping.
Second you focus intentionally on the burdening topic, the emotion or the physical pain.
Third it includes affirmations that improve self-love and self-acceptance.
A certain amount of emotional and cognitive engagement is necessary to work with EFTbut by no means do painful processes need to be relieved on an epic scale.
Generally an immediate relief is felt especially for physical pain but of course also for emotions. Normally this relief is permanent.
